E-learning German course offered to young people abroad who want to study technology or natural science. The course is the possibility to prepare for the focus course technology in the Preparatory College at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz in both language and subject. After this course and the focus course technology they can start the studies in technology or natural sciences.

Since December 2007 until the end of September 2008 this e-learning course was promoted by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) within the scope of the 2^nd phase of the PROFIS programme. For all participants this online preparatory course is free of costs and should be realised during the summer term 2010 in their home country. The course ends with the final (oral) exam.

From summer term 2011 (March 2010) the first successful participants can start the focus course technology in the Preparatory College at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz.
